What is Lipvas 10 mg?
Lipvas 10Â mg Tablet belongs to a class of medications called statins to treat raised cholesterol levels in our body. Lipvas 10 Tablet helps lower the level of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or bad cholesterol in the blood and increase the level of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) or good cholesterol.
Dyslipidaemia is the deposition of unhealthy fat (lipid) levels in the blood. In this condition, there is always a high level of low-density lipoprotein (LDL or bad cholesterol), triglycerides (TG) and a low level of high-density lipoprotein (HDL or good cholesterol).Â
Lipvas 10 Tablet is a widely prescribed medicine and is regarded as safe for long-term use when taken as per the doctor’s advice. It can be taken with a meal or on an empty stomach. You can take it at any time of the day but try to take it at about the same time each day.
Most people with high cholesterol do not feel ill, but stopping your medicine may increase your cholesterol levels thereby increasing your risk of heart disease and stroke.
