What is Cassotide 50 mg Tablet?

Cassotide 50 mg Tablet belongs to the class of medicines called non-steroidal androgen receptor inhibitors. Cassotide 50 mg is used with other medicines (leuprolide or goserelin) to treat metastatic prostate cancer in men (cancer that started in the prostate and has spread to other parts of the body).

This Cassotide  is not recommended for use in women and children. You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to Tablet of its components.

Cassotide may cause some common side adverse effects including hot flashes or flushing, bone, back, or pelvic pain, muscle weakness, muscle or joint pain, headache, shortness of breath, increased blood pressure, swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs, cough, constipation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, gas.
